Now some users have reported that they may find lumps when using caustic soda tablets. They asked the editor if they can still be used if they have clumped? What is the reason for this phenomenon?Below, the editor summarizes two reasons to share with you:
1.The influence of caustic soda temperature
The temperature of caustic soda is determined by the cooling water flow rate of the rotary drum and the rotary drum speed of the caustic soda machine. The circulating water volume and temperature inside the drum of the caustic soda machine, whether the nozzle inside the drum is blocked, and whether there is scaling inside the drum will directly affect its temperature and seriously affect the uniformity of the feeding temperature of the caustic soda machine. After cleaning the nozzle, removing the scale in the drum, and increasing the circulating water volume, its temperature decreased from 63C~66C to 58C.By reducing its feeding temperature, the agglomeration phenomenon will be alleviated to some extent.
2.Alkali flakes absorb moisture and clump together
The packaging adopts double-layer packaging bags.If the sewing of the bag opening is not fast enough or not tight enough, the caustic soda in the packaging bag will easily absorb moisture and affect its quality. To this end,the original single seam has been changed to a double seam, and packaging personnel are required to inspect the processes of entrainment and stitching, and then achieve maximum isolation from air, greatly reducing the problem of clumping caused by poor sealing.
The above is all the content about caustic soda that the editor has compiled. The clumping of caustic soda is not directly related to its quality, but if clumping occurs,it can affect normal use or even affect the effectiveness of use. Therefore,we must pay attention when using it!
