In the current global wave of environmental protection and the deeply rooted concept of green development,the soda ash industry,as an important component of the traditional chemical industry,is undergoing a profound green process revolution.Soda ash,a basic chemical raw material widely used in various key fields such as glass manufacturing,detergent production,and food processing,has long been accompanied by problems such as high energy consumption and high pollution in its production process.However,with the development and progress of the times,Soda ash manufacturer have stepped forward and actively participated in the innovation and transformation of green processes,injecting new vitality into the sustainable development of the industry.
Soda ash manufacturer regard technological innovation as the core driving force in the green process revolution,actively exploring and applying a series of advanced energy-saving,consumption reducing,and environmental protection technologies.Taking the underground circulation integrated alkali production process independently developed by Jiangsu Suyan Jingshen Co.,Ltd.as an example,compared with traditional combined alkali method and ammonia alkali method,this process exhibits green process characteristics in terms of raw material utilization rate,comprehensive energy consumption,carbon dioxide emissions,and"three wastes"treatment.It uses low nitrate saturated brine as raw material to produce soda ash through whole brine alkali production.The waste liquid containing calcium chloride and sodium chloride generated during the alkali production process is injected into the well and classified into low nitrate brine and high calcium brine after underground denitrification.The low nitrate brine is then used for whole brine alkali production,eliminating the traditional vacuum salt production and salt conversion processes.At the same time,the waste residue generated from alkali production can be used to fill the salt caves formed during the salt mining process,which not only solves the problem of solid waste treatment but also contributes to the occurrence of geological disasters in the goaf of salt mines.On the basis of achieving 100%utilization of waste liquid and residue,this process also uses 20%ammonia water instead of liquid ammonia for brine ammonification,eliminating major hazards.In addition,its carbon emissions are significantly lower than traditional processes.Calculated based on the production of 1 ton of soda ash and 1 ton of calcium chloride,the carbon dioxide emissions have decreased from 2.29 tons to 1.34 tons,a decrease of about 41%compared to the average level of the domestic industry.
