Treatment methods for flake alkali dust

In the production process of caustic soda,if the concentration of alkali dust is high,workers will be forced to inhale the dust,which not only causes certain harm to the body,but also corrodes the production equipment.Therefore,the treatment of alkali dust is very important.
1、Firstly,adjust the angle of the cutting tool
After the drum is well cooled and melted,it can adhere to the surface of the drum with a small adhesive force.Therefore,in order to reduce the collision friction between the blade and the caustic soda,the angle between the blade and the drum surface should be adjusted to a suitable range to maintain its parallelism to the drum axis.
2、The drum cooling water is changed from water used in the production process to pure water.
The production process water used for cooling the drum water,due to its high hardness,will scale on the inner wall of the drum after long-term use,affecting heat transfer efficiency and making cleaning more complicated.The cooling water of the drum can be recycled and the consumption is not too high,so we can all use pure water instead.This way,the drum will not scale,which improves the heat transfer effect to a certain extent and allows the molten alkali on the outer wall of the drum to cool better,thereby reducing the occurrence of alkali dust.
3、The delay program between the discharge plate of the packaging scale and the packaging bag clamp should be normal.
When the filling amount in the packaging bag reaches the preset weight,the discharge plate needs to be closed first to allow the remaining alkali dust to fall into the bag as much as possible.After 3 seconds,release the clamp.Putting down the packaging bag at this time can effectively prevent the escape of alkali dust.
4、During normal operation,try to close the observation hole of the equipment as much as possible to prevent alkali dust from leaking out from here.
5、Clean the discharge plate of the silent packaging scale on time.
If the feeding plate is not cleaned for a long time,it will stick a layer and cause the closure to be unstable.After cleaning,ensure that the feed plate is tightly closed without gaps to prevent alkali dust leakage.
