Can soda ash be steamed
The actual caustic soda is what we usually call sodium hydroxide. There are many different manufacturers with different production methods, but the products they produce are basically the same. The most commonly used production process for caustic soda recently is pot cooking, which is also a relatively traditional one.Let's take a look together below:
The qualified molten alkali produced by the mode evaporation process flows into the arc-shaped groove through the liquid seal device of the finished product separator, and the surface of the cooling drum of the flake alkali machine is equipped with dovetail grooves set at appropriate positions.
2.Use a lifting device to keep the arc-shaped alkali tank in the desired position or pour out the molten alkali inside the tank when parked, and slowly rotate the drum at a speed of 1.5-3.0 r/min.Cold water is introduced from the middle of one end of the drum bearing, sprayed out from the nozzle on the water pipe, sprayed onto the inner surface of the cooling drum, and then led out from the middle of the bearing at the other end.
3.The chilled water outlet pipe is connected to the water jet pump to create a certain vacuum,so that the cold water can be discharged in a timely manner, ensuring that the heat exchange area of the freezing drum is fully utilized.
4.Adjust the thickness of the caustic soda by adjusting the rotation speed of the drum and the depth of immersion of the drum into the arc-shaped groove. As the drum rotates, the alkali layer condensed on the outer surface of the drum is continuously scraped off by a scraper to obtain flake alkali.
That's all for this issue.Soda flakes are widely used in various industries, and different industries have different performance requirements,so the production process is also different.
